NatureBox - Healthy Monthly Snacks

NatureBox is another monthly subscription box. However, it is different. Each month, they send you nutritionist approved snacks! This month I received 5 zip-lock type, reclosable bags (as you will each month) with some snacks I never thought could be tasty or as filling as they were. Masa Crisps- These harder chip-like crisps are a nice bite-size. Personally I was less likely to shove a ton in my mouth as they were filling, salty, and crunchy to my liking. They also have flax seeds in them, which is great for you! Dried Pears- These tasty buggers taste fresh, not overpowering and they're FILLING! I especially found the outside skin of these to be an extra special treat. It was almost like I tasted sugar, but nope! Only dried pears here! (They're gone now btw!) Pistachio Power Clusters- Reading the word CLUSTER automatically fills me up, I'm not a huge fan of anything clustered as it can be a lot to eat in what feels like should be a bite-size piece. But, I'd like...

My Cotton Bunny - Monthly Period Box

Today I had the chance to review a new monthly subscription box, My Cotton Bunny. This service is quite a bit different from what I usually receive for subscription boxes. It contains feminine hygiene product for your time of the month! Aka "period" products! Each month you'll receive a box customized to your "bloody" needs! PLUS -- 2 special gifts to give you a little joy and comfort during that dreaded time-of-the-month. This box is the December box, which contained 1 package of 18 U by Kotex "Click" regular tampons (retail price: $3-6). While 18 tampons for a 5 day period may be suitable for some people, it isn't for me. Normally in the beginning of my period I use super tampons and then as my flow slows down I switch to regular absorbency tampons. With this in mind, I hope/recommend they offer a 2-box deal- such as one box of super tampons and one box of regular tampons. Or, one box of regular tampons and one package of pads. With this serv...

Quickie Review 3D Crest Whitestrips

Today I tried the Crest 3D White Whitestrips Professional Effects Impressions by occurrence: 1) Strips are very sticky, they stick well to pretty-dry teeth. However, I find it weird that they don't cover ALL of your teeth, who wants half-white teeth?? 2) After about 10 minutes of wear (out of 30) I started tasting the nasty gel-like substance they use for the whitening ~ I felt like barfing and I had a bit of a stomach ache. 3) I removed the strips, and my teeth felt smoother than usual. 4) About 4 hours after using {reason I decided to write this post} the strips for the first time, my teeth felt cold and very sensitive. The strips didn't work for me - I discontinued use. Received complimentary of Influenster for testing purposes.

Shoes & Socks

Aren't these shoes sooo cute!! I already love the inside but there's a super cute floral flower pattern inside too!! The wedge-heel is about 1-2 inches in length. I found them at DSW for about $40 from a brand called Rampage. And.... MISMATCHED SOCKS FTW!

My First Time: Nail Marbling

I've been wanting to marble my nails for about a month... So I finally decided to do it today. Here's what you'll need to do it yourself: cold filtered water paper cup (I used a waxy single-serve paper one) 2 paper towels Q-tips toothpicks Scotch tape (or Vaseline) Sally Hansen: White On, Blue Me Away! & Gunmetal Sinful Colors: Timbleberry L.A. Colors Base/Top Coat If you mess up DON'T immediately wipe polish off - wait until polish is completely dry.
